The Astral Undertow is an original illustration exploring the strange connection between the ocean depths and outer space, two vast, mysterious worlds that remain largely unexplored.
A lone explorer drifts through a place where those worlds overlap. Jellyfish float among distant planets, unfamiliar creatures inhabit the depths, and the ocean floor gives way to an endless cosmos. The deeper the journey goes, the harder it becomes to tell where the sea ends and space begins.
Inspired by the sense of wonder that keeps us searching beyond the horizon, The Astral Undertow imagines the ocean and cosmos not as separate worlds, but as two great unknowns connected by mystery.
